Grace was the daughter of a wealthy businessman. Her father’s driver, Michael, had worked for the family for years. He was respectful, hardworking, and always made sure she arrived safely wherever she went.
At first, Grace barely noticed him. But after her closest friend betrayed her and her parents pressured her into a business marriage, Michael became the person she trusted most.
He listened without judging and reminded her that she had the right to make her own decisions.
One night, Grace asked him why he never spoke about his own dreams.
“I want to own a small transport company,” he said. “But I need to save enough money first.”
Grace began helping him study business management. Their friendship slowly became love.
When her father discovered the relationship, he fired Michael immediately.
“You will not marry someone who works for me!” he shouted.
Grace left home and found a small apartment. She refused to return until her father respected her choice.
Michael worked several jobs while building his transport company. Grace helped manage bookings, answer calls, and organize accounts. Their business grew slowly, but they celebrated every new customer.
Three years later, Grace’s father attended a charity event where Michael’s company was providing free transportation for elderly people.
He watched Michael help an old woman into a vehicle, then stay beside her until she was comfortable.
Later, he approached the couple and apologized for treating Michael as if his job defined his worth.
At their wedding, Grace’s father walked her down the aisle, and Michael held her hand with tears in his eyes.
Grace whispered, “You used to drive me everywhere.”
Michael smiled. “Now we’re going to build a life together.”
