Maya was the daughter of a wealthy businessman, while Daniel was a poor young man who worked at a small roadside restaurant. They fell in love, sharing dreams beneath an old mango tree.
When Maya’s father discovered their relationship, he offered Daniel money to disappear from her life. Daniel refused, saying, “I may be poor today, but I will never sell the woman I love.”
Her father forced Maya to choose between her family and Daniel. With tears in her eyes, she left her luxurious home and moved into a tiny rented room with him.
Years passed. Daniel worked day and night, eventually building a successful business. One day, Maya’s father arrived at their beautiful home, having lost much of his fortune.
Daniel welcomed him warmly and offered him a place at their table.
Maya’s father began to cry. “Why are you helping me after everything I did to you?”
Daniel smiled. “Because your daughter taught me that love is more valuable than money.”
