The Night Shift Security Guard
A former police officer takes a lonely overnight security job inside an abandoned shopping mall scheduled for demolition. Every night, the cameras capture strange figures wandering empty hallways after midnight. At first, the guard assumes the system is malfunctioning. But then the figures begin appearing closer and closer to him in real life. Store mannequins change positions when he looks away. Elevator music plays even though the power is disconnected. The guard discovers hidden maintenance tunnels beneath the mall containing evidence of crimes covered up decades earlier. As the night progresses, the mall itself seems alive, trapping him inside by locking exits and altering hallways. Security recordings reveal horrifying footage from the building’s past, including fires, disappearances, and unexplained deaths. The protagonist must survive until sunrise while uncovering the truth behind the mall’s cursed history. Include claustrophobic tension, eerie empty spaces, supernatural suspense, tragic human stories, and a climactic confrontation with whatever entity has claimed the building.
