The Phone Call at 4 AM
A woman woke to her phone ringing at 4:03 AM.
The caller ID showed her own number.
Confused, she answered.
On the other end was her own terrified voice whispering:
“Don’t go downstairs.”
Then the call disconnected.
Moments later, she heard glass breaking below.
She locked herself in her bedroom and called police.
Officers later discovered a masked intruder inside her kitchen holding a knife.
But what disturbed them most wasn’t the break-in.
It was the phone records.
No incoming call had ever been made.
