Every evening, a rich girl ordered food she barely touched, but the real reason she ordered it was the poor boy who delivered it.
Sophia lived in a luxurious mansion with her parents. She had expensive clothes, a private driver, and everything money could buy, except someone who genuinely cared about her.
Michael delivered food for a small restaurant to pay his mother’s medical bills. He was always polite, even when customers treated him badly.
One rainy evening, Sophia noticed Michael standing outside her gate, completely soaked. Instead of simply taking her food, she invited him inside and gave him a towel.
“You don’t have to treat me like a servant,” he said gently. “I’m just doing my job.”
Sophia smiled. “And you don’t have to pretend you’re not freezing.”
Their friendship grew into love. Sophia admired Michael’s honesty, while Michael loved her kindness rather than her wealth.
But Sophia’s mother discovered their relationship and immediately objected.
“You will marry a wealthy man, not a delivery boy!” she shouted.
Sophia refused to abandon Michael.
When Michael learned that her family had threatened to dismiss him from his job, he tried to end the relationship to protect her. Sophia found him outside the restaurant and held his hand.
“I don’t need a man who can buy me everything,” she whispered. “I need a man who makes me feel loved.”
Years later, Michael opened his own delivery company, employing hundreds of workers. Sophia helped him establish scholarships for children from struggling families.
At their wedding, Sophia’s mother finally apologized and embraced them.
Michael kissed his bride’s forehead.
“You once ordered dinner because you wanted to see me.”
Sophia laughed through her tears.
“And now I get to have dinner with you for the rest of my life.”
The greatest delivery he ever made was bringing true love to her door.
