The Voice From Upstairs
A babysitter was watching two children during a rainy night while the parents attended a party.
Around midnight, she got a phone call.
A man whispered:
“Have you checked the children?”
Thinking it was a prank, she hung up.
Minutes later, the phone rang again.
“Why haven’t you checked them?”
Terrified, she called police.
The operator told her to keep the caller talking while they traced the line.
Seconds later, the operator screamed:
“GET OUT OF THE HOUSE NOW. THE CALLS ARE COMING FROM UPSTAIRS.”
The babysitter grabbed the children and ran outside moments before police found a man hiding in their bedroom closet.
