Isabella lived in a mansion surrounded by servants. Her parents wanted her to marry a wealthy businessman, but she secretly loved Noah, a young man who sold noodles from a tiny street cart.
Every evening, Isabella visited Noah’s stall. He never asked for expensive gifts or money. Instead, he remembered her favorite meal and listened whenever she felt lonely.
One evening, her father arrived unexpectedly and saw them laughing together.
“You will never marry a street vendor!” he shouted. “He cannot give you the life you deserve.”
Isabella looked at Noah, then answered, “He gives me something you have never bought me: peace.”
Her father stopped paying her allowance and threatened to disown her. Isabella moved into a modest apartment and helped Noah improve his business.
They worked side by side, sometimes until midnight. When Noah became discouraged, Isabella reminded him of his dream of opening a restaurant.
Two years later, their little food cart had become a popular restaurant. Noah had saved enough to open a second location, and Isabella had become his business partner.
One afternoon, her father entered their restaurant quietly. He watched Noah serve an elderly customer who could not afford a full meal. Noah gave the man food without charging him.
For the first time, Isabella’s father understood why she had chosen him.
He approached the couple, apologized, and embraced his daughter.
At their wedding, Noah promised to keep loving Isabella whether they owned ten restaurants or none.
She kissed his cheek and whispered, “I chose you when all we had was a dream.”
