1. The Campfire Rule
A group of friends went camping deep in the forest despite locals warning them never to stay after dark.
At midnight, they heard footsteps circling their tent.
Crunch. Crunch. Crunch.
One friend unzipped the tent slightly and saw nothing.
But the footsteps continued.
Then came a child’s voice:
“Can I sit by your fire?”
The group stayed silent.
The oldest camper whispered:
“Do NOT answer.”
The voice repeated the question over and over for hours.
At sunrise, the sounds stopped.
Outside the tent were hundreds of barefoot footprints surrounding them.
But every footprint pointed backward.
2. The Locked Basement
A woman moved into her grandmother’s old farmhouse after she passed away.
There was one rule in the will:
Never unlock the basement door.
For months, she obeyed.
Then one night she heard knocking beneath the floorboards.
Slow.
Rhythmic.
At 2 AM, curiosity won.
She unlocked the basement.
Inside she found only darkness and a single wooden chair facing the wall.
Then she noticed fresh footprints in the dust.
Someone else had already been down there.
Suddenly the basement door slammed shut behind her.
And from the corner came her grandmother’s voice:
“You shouldn’t have opened it.”
3. The Sleep Experiment
A university conducted a secret sleep deprivation experiment on five volunteers locked inside a research chamber.
After five days without sleep, the subjects began whispering to unseen figures.
By day eight, one volunteer ripped apart books searching for “the hidden people in the walls.”
Researchers attempted to end the experiment.
But the subjects refused to leave.
They begged for the gas keeping them awake.
When soldiers finally entered the chamber, they found the volunteers horribly mutilated—but still alive.
One soldier whispered:
“What are you?”
A subject smiled with blood-covered teeth.
“We are what humans become when they can no longer dream.”
4. The Figure at the Window
Every night at exactly 1:13 AM, a little boy saw a tall figure standing outside his bedroom window.
It never moved.
Never blinked.
Just stared.
His parents assumed it was imagination.
Until one night the boy screamed louder than ever before.
His father rushed into the room.
The figure was gone.
But written across the fogged-up window were the words:
“HE LOOKS JUST LIKE YOU.”
The father slowly turned toward the family photos on the wall—
And realized every childhood picture of himself showed the same tall figure standing in the background.
5. The Endless Highway
A truck driver was crossing the desert overnight when his GPS suddenly rerouted him onto an unknown road.
Hours passed.
No gas stations.
No signs.
No other cars.
Then he noticed something horrifying.
Every few miles, he passed the exact same woman standing beside the road holding a suitcase.
Same clothes.
Same expression.
Again and again.
Finally, he stopped and rolled down the window.
“Who are you?!”
The woman slowly smiled.
“You never stopped driving.”
