The Apartment Upstairs
A man living alone in an old apartment building hears furniture dragging across the ceiling every night at 2:06 AM. The landlord insists the upstairs apartment has been empty for years. Unable to sleep, he finally sneaks upstairs to investigate. The apartment is frozen cold, covered in dust, and completely unfurnished. But the dragging sound starts again directly behind him, even though there is nowhere for anyone to hide.
